The Things You Are

You are my first thought in the morning.
You are my very last thought before I fall asleep.

You are the light along this dim path.

You are the one who taught me the meaning of true love.

You are everything that is right in the world.
You are hope, truth, and innocence.

You are my reason to be a better person.
You are my guide through this new life.

You are my happiness and joy.
You are my breath of fresh air.

You are everything I ever wished for.
You are the greatest gift from the heavens.
You are my heart and my soul.

You are remembered.
You are loved.
You are missed.
You are honored.

You are our daughter, granddaughter, great granddaughter, niece, and cousin.
You are part of our family.
You are ours.

You are so much more than words could ever describe.

You are my baby, my love, my everything.

She spends her free time writing about Elliot and her experience as a bereaved parent. Sharing her experience has become an important outlet for Lori as she works through her grief. One of her new goals in life is to help educate others about pregnancy/infant loss, grief, and the day to day struggles associated with perinatal loss.
